Open Road The Ruby Mountains, often called the "Swiss Alps of Nevada," are a breathtaking mountain range in northeastern Nevada, known for their rugged peaks, alpine lakes, and diverse wildlife. Stretching for about 90 miles, these mountains are home to Lamoille Canyon, a glacier-carved valley with dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and vibrant wildflowers in the summer.
