Failure to Launch The plane wreckage in this photo isn’t just any debris—it’s a Hollywood relic from the movie Three Thousand Miles to Graceland (2001). In a pulse-pounding scene, this plane was spectacularly blown to bits. Rather than let it fade into cinematic history, the owners of the mine preserved the dramatic remains, embedding them in a display of mining tailings. Now, it's not only a piece of the film but also a part of the area's industrial legacy. Prints are available through my Pixels - Fine Art America site.
