Sunrise Glow Desert Big Horn Rams are majestic creatures that inhabit the rugged and arid landscapes of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. These impressive animals are known for their massive curved horns, which can reach up to 3 feet in length and weigh as much as 30 pounds. While these horns are primarily used for defense against predators and foraging for food, they also play a crucial role in the desert big horn ram's mating rituals. Prints are available through my Pixels - Fine Art America site. See more of my Desert Bighorn Sheep photography here. |
