Blue Mesa Backcountry Trail
| Blue Mesa Backcountry Trail Petrified Forest National Park Arizona May 2022 We took a backcountry trail starting at the Tepees area of the park. We followed an old park road and then up into and through Chinle Formation (225 million-year-old colorful sediment). The trail will take you into the Blue Mesa area.
